Notes - Base

Base notes are generally a thick, deep aroma. People often smell the base notes straight from the bottle not realising that it is very difficult to appreciate the scent out of the bottle. Base note aromas changes as the oil is dispersed and evaporated. As a rule of thumb think of base notes as the lingering, long lasting scent.

Notes - Middle

Middles notes are long lasting aromas that give blends their fullness.  Over time the top note evaporate leaving behind the middle and base notes.

Notes - Top

Top notes are very strong innitially and evaporate quickly.  They lead the way and are the first to stand out in an essential oil blend.

Neroli Essential Oil
